Australia: $550,000 cannabis haul

A Sydney man has been charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug after police discovered cannabis plants worth $550,000 growing in his home.
Police allegedly discovered three rooms of cannabis plants worth $550,000 and a sophisticated hydroponics setup following a search of a house in Ruse yesterday.
The 38-year old had allegedly remodelled his house to grow the plants.

Evidence of previous crops was also found at the Ruse property owned by the man. He will face Campbelltown local court later today.
