A SALISBURY man had a bad start to the day after police discovered a cannabis crop in his home early this morning.
| About 2.30am police found the burnt-out wreckage of a Subaru WRX on Brown Rd Waterloo Corner. The patrol went to the address of the registered owner |  | | and on their arrival "detected a strong smell of cannabis coming from the house", Senior Constable Mick Abbott from police media said. |
When police entered the house they found six cannabis plants being grown hydroponically.
They also found the occupant was diverting the electricity supply from the meter box of the house to grow the plants.
The man is being questioned by police and is expected to be charged with various offences.
