....Police uncover hydroponic cannabis operation |
A 41-year-old man has been charged after police allegedly uncovered a hydroponic cannabis-growing operation and firearms, it was revealed today.
| Police found the covert set-up as part of a raid on a Greenfields house at 6am on Friday, following a domestic dispute between the man and his 28-year-old partner at the Times Square house. It is understood the woman and her children left without incident and a search of the residence allegedly located the cannabis operation, a pump-action shotgun and a big amount of ammunition. |  |
The man was arrested and later charged with one count each of cultivating cannabis, possessing cannabis, posessing an unlicensed firearm, possessing unlicensed ammunition and possessing a controlle weapon.
He is scheduled to appear in Mandurah Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
