....smoking pot snares mom, daughter

SARNIA, Ont. -- A mother and daughter face drug charges after police say they caught them smoking marijuana while awaiting the start of a concert in Sarnia.
Provincial police Const. Todd Monaghan says a marine officer had just docked a police boat at Sarnia Bay Marina on Wednesday afternoon when he spotted an excessive amount of smoke inside a parked car. Police say the mother, in her 40s, and the daughter, in her 20s, were smoking pot while they awaited the start of a Nickelback concert.

The officer seized 14 marijuana cigarettes. The women, both from Belle River, Ont., were released pending a court appearance.
