Suspects in custody after hashish discovery
Madrid - Spanish police said on Tuesday that they had seized three tons of hashish and arrested 26 people for allegedly being involved in smuggling the drug from Morocco into Spain and the rest of Europe.

The arrests involved Spanish and Moroccan nationals and they were made in May at several locations across Spain, police said in a statement.

Police also seized three boats used to transport the drug from Morocco, six vehicles, 50 000 euros in cash as well as several mobile telephones as part of their operation, the statement said.
