Two arrested following cannabis find |
Two persons are being held under arrest following a drugs find of cannabis in Bormla on Friday evening.
| The search by the Drugs Squad was conducted following a tip-off that drug trafficking was taking place in a residence.
The persons arrested are a 19-year-old youth from Birgu and a 47-year-old man from Bormla. The latter was found in possession of cannabis which was meant for trafficking. He is well known to the police.

Magistrate Dr D.Clarke was informed of the find.
Police investigations continue.
The 47-year-old will appear in front of Magistrate Dr Miriam Hayman on Saturday evening.
