Cannabis-based drug seeks approval |
The Ministry of Health is recommending the approval of a cannabis-based drug in New Zealand.

| Sativex is a mouth spray extracted from cannabis plants. It's recently been approved in Canada for patients suffering from multiple sclerosis. Ministry spokesman Bruce Atmore has told Parliament's Health Select committee they support Sativex being available in New Zealand. |  |
