Schuyler man arrested for growing marijuana |
SCHUYLER — Members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, working in conjunction with the Herkimer County District Attorney’s Office, closed a two month investigation Tuesday with the execution of a search warrant at 3642 State Route 5, Schuyler.

| was discovered in the basement of Randy L. Decker Jr.’s residence.

Police seized approximately 3.5 ounces of marijuana along with assorted fireworks, a .22 caliber rifle and more than $11,000.
Decker was arraigned in Ilion Village Court and remanded to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
