When you first think of setting up an indoor marijuana growing operation its all to easy to put too many egg's in far to few baskets, essentially hedging everything you have invested, in a simple 50/50 bet.

Red or black. Or in some cases, one empty chamber and five loaded!

The bet?

Its simple.  Will the police find out I'm growing marijuana, or will I succeed with my operation?

If you know the answer to that question you can go about deciding whether to set up as a wholesale marijuana grower, or not.

US citizen Damien Anthony Andrews made just that decision after deciding to move into the area from Encinitas, his primary address.

Andrews acquired a 39-acre parcel of land in Santa Ysabel, California, with a beautiful log cabin and outbuildings.

Remote, mounted high on a hill-side, overlooking all possible access routes, it was perfectly set up.

If the buildings layout was an attractive proposition, one of the outbuildings held a fascinating secret.

In a garage on the grounds of the property, was an elevator shaft which dropped 20ft down to a hidden chamber underneath the outbuilding.

At the base of the elevator shaft, is the 4 foot wide entrance to a 65 foot long tunnel. At the end of this tunnel is where the grow room is situated, complete with sophisticated irrigation and ventilation systems.

It was perfect.
