Medical Marijuana Documentary "Waiting to Inhale" Screenings Announced

Scheduled panelists include Jed Riffe, director of "Waiting to Inhale"; Julie Falco, a multiple sclerosis patient and Illinois Drug Education and Legislative (IDEAL) Reform board member; and Dr. Bruce Doblin, a general internist and palliative care physician and noted medical ethicist.

CHICAGO - Two free screenings of the award winning medical marijuana documentary, "Waiting to Inhale," take place in the Chicago area Feb. 20 and 21, followed by panel discussions featuring the film's director, a Chicago multiple sclerosis patient, and a medical ethicist.

Waiting to Inhale examines the heated debate over marijuana and its use as medicine in the United States. Twelve states have passed legislation to protect patients who use medical marijuana.  Yet opponents claim the medical argument is just a smokescreen for a different agenda-- to legalize marijuana for recreation and profit.
