Medical Marijuana Patient On Edge After Strange Occurrences |
BREMERTON: A 33-year-old man with a "rare disease" that allows him to legally grow and use marijuana called police to report a series of suspicious incidents in his apartment.
| The incidents -- most recently finding a pencil in a frying pan on his stove after returning home from being gone for two hours -- have led him to believe someone with access to his apartment has been breaking in, attempting to steal his marijuana. A Bremerton police officer was called Friday to the man's apartment on Bledsoe Avenue, |  | where the man said he has been noticing the incidents for the last 11/2 years. However, he noted, he has never found any evidence of forced entry.

The man suspects the apartment manager is the culprit, he told police, because the incidents started occurring after the apartment manager saw his "license" that allows him to grow up to 10 marijuana plants for personal use.
The report did not note if the man had noticed he was actually missing any marijuana.
