There can be no more convenient way of shopping for your grow room items, than by doing it online, whilst sitting down in front of your computor with a joint and a cup of coffee.

No more queueing up to pay £6 to park for an hour.  No more 'bag for life', and no more multi-story pay machines which point-blank refuse to accept your ten pound note.  Everyone elses?  Just not yours!

Ah yes, this is the life. 

Lets face it - online shopping must be a male invention.  It's all so.....convenient!

But the bit that always spoils it for me, comes right at the end.  Just before payment (or checkout if you prefer).

This is one of the times when the growing industry crosses the boundaries into the mainstream,and every little price-hike Chancellor Brown has sneaked onto the diesel fuel used to deliver our goods, is reflected in the delivery costs.

Postage!

Its the bain of an online shop-o-holics life, which is made a whole lot worse when the items being posted are heavy like bags of compost and coco, or heavy hardware like carbon filters, or ballasts.

Its not the shop owners levying this tax on us, lets face it!

A while back I had reason to order a bag of All-Mix from a shop 50 miles away.  In total the cost was £21.00 with the postage.  £21, for a bag of compost??

£21!!

I've often thought to myself, how handy it would be to have a grow shop on every corner.  Normally when I've just run out of something and its 5 minutes to 5 on a saturday evening.

Attending the UK Hemp Expo as an ever present from the first ever UK Hemp Expo in Wembley, is Ian Cooke, Managing Director of UK hydroponics chain "Grow Systems", and I think he may just have the answer to my problem.
