For a long time, any thoughts of vaporising your favourite herbs have been available only to those with more than a few pounds to spend on 'expensive' electronic vaporising equipment!
Right down on the breadline, (where drug use is at its most prevailant ironically), its just not in the budget.

It takes the workings of an electronic vaporiser and condenses that technology into a little wooden bowl with a metal "controller cap", (the brains behind the beauty).
The big difference, is the fuel.
Instead of having to plug the vapor star into a mains electricity outlet, or even a car cigarette lighter for that matter, you simply fill the bowl with your chosen aromatic, and place the "controller" cap over the mix, with one of three single lines printed on top of the cap, facing towards you.
Then you light your flame, block the "carb-hole" on the back of the pipe neck, and inhale.
The flame gets drawn down into the controller cap and after two or three attempts you'll find the perfect height (and heat) for your particular taste.
To recap, we're not burning anything here, just warming it gently, at between 150-200 degrees!
The material warms up quickly. It really is extremely efficient and once the vapor starts to flow into the bottom chamber its time to extinguish the flame so as not to burn the bowl contents, but keep inhaling as the aromatic volatiles are continuously released as a result of the heat held in the wire gauze on the underside of the controller cap.
Think "gas powered grill" and you'll get an idea of the "radiant" heat the controller cap emits down on to the herbs, so a soft touch is all thats required with the flame.
Incidentally that bowl should last around 6-8 "vapes" (mega-economical in use) with a couple of stirs in between, before it needs changing and the first thing you'll notice is the material you are throwing away, is still green, or whatever colour it was when it started. Or it should be if you're operating the vapor star at the correct temperature.
If its a dark brown/black colour you may be holding the flame too close/too long and actually causing the material to burn and smoke - not good.
When you find your range, the taste builds to a crescedo on either side of your tongue, and an immense feeling of well-being befalls you as you realise you don't need to give up your herbal mixes, to get rid of tobacco from your life once and for all.
The effect from the Vapor Star is instant - think willy wonka's elevator.
The taste is out of this world - literally.
Adverse side effects? Virtually non-existent!
