Alli and Xenical Makers Defend Weight Loss Drugs
Manufacturers of the worlds most popular weight loss drugs, (alli, made by Glaxo and Xenical, made by Roche), have hit back over what they're calling false claims, which link the common constituent in both products, the drug Orlistat, to possibly causing cases of liver damage, and even Hepatitis.

A British newspaper carried reports from some users which claimed Orlistat could have been responible. Indeed the Food and Drug Administration in the US has taken the new claims so seriously, they are now monitoring the situation carefully.
