There's surfing, and then there are the big wave surfers.
These are the guys that pull the fool crazy stunts like riding tsunami-sized waves for the hell of it whilst the rest of civilisation battens down the hatch's against the weather.
Of course big waves dont necessarily mean bad weather and on the right day, with the right conditions it can be breathtaking.
Thats a lot of water to have exploding all around you..literally billions of tons with an unstoppable force, but Buzzy Kerbox makes it look all in a days work.
In tall seas the waves often start out as a slight "swell" on the surface, which is unsurfable obviously. In this instance the surfer is "towed in" to position by a jet-ski, and the line only dropped once the wave is "caught".
