Can You Use Herbs For Hair Regrowth?
There are numerous products on the market that claim to promote hair regrowth but there are some important facts you need to understand before using them. Not all products are created equal. Some have reported great results, while others have not. The truth is, only you can choose which treatment is right for your needs. Here is what you should know about choosing a treatment for hair loss and how to choose it.
What exactly is cannabis? This plant contains a large variety of chemicals including a substance called THC or tetrahydrocannabinol. This chemical works closely with the delta-9-THC that produces the euphoric “high” people get when smoking marijuana. It is believed to reduce the symptoms of nausea and pain, as well as the short term memory loss some people experience after ingesting small amounts. But does this mean that cannabis can actually help you with your hair?
To answer this question, you first have to know what happens in your body when you ingest cannabis. When ingested, THC gets absorbed into the bloodstream and travels to the brain where it stays active, causing you to feel good. However, it does cause a degree of dehydration in your system, causing you to urinate more frequently. Also, blood vessels in your head constrict, which makes it harder for nutrients to reach your follicle roots. Because of all these actions, it can take several days or even weeks for new hair to begin growing again. That’s why many people use a hair growth shampoo or solution to combat this problem.
So, is this something you can use to improve your hair regrowth? Of course it is! There are currently three approved medicinal uses for cannabis: the treatment of cancer, the treatment of neurological disorders, and the management of nausea and chemotherapy patients. One of the things that make pharmaceuticals such as Claritin and Prozac so successful in the treatment of cancer is that they work by reducing the levels of several chemicals in the body. Some of these chemicals are known as “anti-tumor agents”, meaning that they cause tumors to shrink or die.
In fact, studies have shown that up to 75% of the ingredients found in Claritin can kill cancer cells. The same holds true for another popular medicinal use of oil, called cannabidiol, which is found in marijuana. Another thing that medical researchers have found to be effective in the treatment of neurological disorders is omega 3 fatty acids. These fatty acids help restore proper brain function. It is believed that the fatty acids found in these supplements for hair regrowth work by improving the flow of oxygen to the brain, which allows nerves to communicate better.
All of these natural ingredients may very well help you with your hair regrowth problems, but not all of them will work the same for everyone. Only a few companies have been successful at creating natural anti-fungal oils that have been scientifically tested to work against a wide array of different hair-related problems. These oils are usually very pure and contain no fillers, preservatives, or coloring. If you want to get the most out of your product, make sure you select one from a reputable company.
One of my personal favorites is called Mederma, which comes from a company in New Zealand. Their line of herbal anti-fungal oils include two that are particularly interesting. One is called Arbutin, and the other is called Melatontin. (I won’t mention the names because they are fairly self-explanatory.) These two specific oils have been shown to improve circulation, increase circulation, and improve the health of the skin surrounding follicles.
The best news is that many people who use these oils as an alternative to prescription drugs for hair regrowth, no longer need to do so. However, if you have tried other forms of treatment, you might want to continue using them in case of a relapse. In my experience, they are very safe to use with no ill effects reported. As stated before, however, you should always check with your doctor to be sure of the benefits or risks associated with using these supplements.
