Is CBD Oil Legal Europe?
Why is it that there is a CBD oil? What does this have to do with my freedom? These are only a few questions that come to the mind of someone who is considering using this oil as a remedy for some of their ailments. You too may be interested in knowing if this oil is really as good as all the claims that people make about it.
The name CBD stands for Cannabidiol, which is a natural substance extracted from the cannabis plant. This substance has been used for centuries as an herbal medicine and as an anti-inflammatory treatment. It is now being used to treat many different diseases and conditions, including seizures, chronic pain, muscle spasms, depression, nausea and more. In fact, it is now being touted by many as the “cure to all ailments”.
As you can imagine, the pharmaceutical industry is not big on the idea of making any kind of medicinal products that are derived from plants. In the US, marijuana is viewed the same way as alcohol, and there are many laws in place to control and regulate the production, distribution, and consumption of these two products. This makes the possession, cultivation, and manufacture of CBD oil a Schedule II controlled substance. Although it has not been added to the US National Substances List, it is still considered to be illegal to buy and sell, and has penalties for anyone caught doing so.
In Europe, it is legal to use this oil for medicinal purposes, however it is not allowed to sell it as food or drink. Many companies have gotten around this by adding CBD into other products, such as energy drinks, or teas. While this does not fall into the category of drug manufacture, and is not against the law, there is still not full blown endorsement by medical authorities on the use of this oil for therapeutic purposes. This is largely due to the fact that there are no conclusive studies to prove its effectiveness as a medicine. Also, many of the people who are the subject of these studies, have not submitted their consent for them, making the whole thing a bit murky as far as regulation is concerned.
CBD oil is still largely a mystery to the medical world, which is a bit of a shame, because it does have some very real benefits. For starters, it seems to be very effective at fighting off viruses, and bacteria. It also seems to boost the immune system, helping to reduce the number of illnesses that people get over the course of a year. Also, people with ailments such as cancer, arthritis, and epilepsy have found relief using it. All of these are because CBD is a powerful inhibitor of neuro-transmitters in the body and is therefore supposed to stop the communication between the brain and nerve cells.
For these reasons, the oil is being seen as a “cure” for a variety of medical conditions. It is, in essence, a “cure” for cancer. The only problem is that there is currently no approved medicine that uses CBD, so many companies are not even trying to make this product available. This has led to massive unavailability, which can lead to people having to resort to “black-marketing” the CBD oil.
In the end, the best way to obtain legitimate CBD oil products is from legitimate online sources. While it is true that you can find pharmaceutical products that contain CBD oil, they will only be available from licensed distributors in countries such as the UK and the US. This means that you could potentially be breaking the law by importing them into another country, which is against the law on the whole. Also, because this type of oil has not been approved by the FDA, you are probably not going to find any research or data on its health benefits. This means that there is no current research that proves it to be effective, and that there is no reason to believe that it will be.
This doesn’t mean that it is necessarily unsafe to use. There are legitimate products out there that have not been produced with cannabis in mind, but they are not legal. When it comes to THC, CBD oil has no known side effects or risks. It can be used just like regular oil, and many people do find that it produces a relief of symptoms when used in conjunction with other medical treatments, such as an anti-nausea pill or a sleeping pill. However, do not use it as a replacement for those other drugs, and do not stop taking other medicines without first consulting your doctor. Only a trained medical professional should recommend CBD oil for use with particular ailments.
